OACCS member agencies have established
their credibility with governments,
consumers, referral sources and
the credit industry by offering
realistic, unbiased financial assessments
and efficient and effective management.
The OACCS also works with various
levels of government and consumer
agencies such as Human Resources
Development Canada, Industry Canada
and Family Service organizations
to benefit consumers.
Confidence
You
can have confidence and trust in
the services provided by member
agencies. In order to belong to
the OACCS, member agencies must
be accredited through the Association’s
Accreditation Program.
Standards
of Practice and Code of Ethics
OACCS Accreditation ensures that
the agency adheres to rigorous Standards
of Practice and the Code of Ethics
of the Ontario Association of Credit
Counselling Services. These high
standards of excellence in governance,
accountability, services and ethics
are founded on integrity and trust.
Professionalism
The Association and each member
agency is managed by professional
staff and is governed by a Board
of Directors.
